A similar decline in 2017 is forecast for 2018, with Ethereum’s price set to drop below $300 in 2019.
The value of Ethereum has plummeted in recent months, as the price of the cryptocurrency has dropped in recent days, as its value has risen.
The cryptocurrency is currently trading for less than $1.50.
In a report published on Monday, CryptoCompare said that in 2018, the price per Ethereum will drop to less than half of the average of the last 20 years.
In the same report, CryptoCoins.com reported that the value of the crypto-currency is likely to fall in 2019 as fears about the Ebola crisis increase.
