Chelsea are set to land the France striker Marlo Fellainio, but the Blues will need to sell one of their key players before they can sign him.
The France international is set to sign a five-year contract worth around £100,000-a-week, but sources close to the player tell Sky Sports he wants to stay in the Premier League.
With no new targets lined up, Chelsea are expected to sell Fellaino this summer and will then be left without a striker for next season.
The 27-year-old will have to make a fresh start if he wants a place in the starting line-up next season, and a new deal is now in the offing.
He could leave Stamford Bridge for a bargain £15m-a/week in the summer, but it is understood that Chelsea are looking to bring him to London next season and he could have to wait for that window to play out.
